Just picked this up, to much work for me now, but it is an early convertible and probably worth saving. Car looks to have been restored before / or had restoration started ? New rear quarter skins were put on as were front fender aprons/outer shock towers- all have sat and rusted some now(not painted). Floors and rockers were replaced before as well- not a good job and floors have rusted through again. On the plus side the car does have power steering and power top - and I did get the power top to go up. All glass except windshield looks to be there. I have a new tailpanel for it (repo)- just sitting on car now (not welded). Doors are decent- typical rust in lower corner spots ( drivers door replaced- have the original with door tag -its dented). Hood is probably usable, trunk lid is rotten on corners. I have a pair of used original front fenders to go with it and a back seat from another 67 convert - frame is kinda rusty on seat. Frame on car is likewise rusty. Also have a 66 V8 289 and C4 from a Fairlane to go with it as well (mostly complete motor). Pictures will be up this afternoon on http://www.kevinstang.com (under 67 convert project) my email is [email protected] . Please no dreamers, car is in upstate NY near Canadian border, hate to part it out, but if no interest will have to do by the end of month (Oct).
