I inherited this Mustang and don't know what to do with it. I could use some help deciding.
Is it worth putting on the road again?

Good question, but you’ve only given us one picture and no info. So, flip a coin?

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing. It's got a V8, 4b Edelbrock Carb, racing headers and exhaust. It ran when I parked it, but needs work. I'm looking for more pictures. Thank you!

I think the decision could come down to your own car skills. Getting that car up and running and safe for the road could get pricy if you pay someone else to do it. Also, what would your plan for the car be if you kept it? Daily driver, weekend cruiser, etc? Do you have a place and the tools to do the work? These are the questions you need to wrestle with before you decide. Some people use the opportunity like this to learn a new skill/have a new hobby. There are books, many online videos, etc to help if that’s your decision. Good luck.

My son and I have spoke about us doing the work on it together. I know enough about mechanics to be able to handle most of it (thanks, grandpa!)

Thank you for your input!

A father and son project sounds like a plan. Even if you never get it done, spending time together is priceless. You can start a build thread on this forum so we can follow along on your progress. There, you will be able to post that progress, and ask for help when you need it. I’ve always found posting progress motives me. Good luck to you and your son.

I'm a single mom, but know my way around cars. We have this and a 1982 Mercedes 240D we need to get running or sold. I'll do a progress thread for sure! Thank you!

No worries. I didn't specify, and it really doesn't matter, honestly. The end result should be the focus. I think we will start once it warms up again! Thank you!

@BadBev I guess that is the 4-cylinder Mercedes being the 240?
