1968 Ford Fairlane 500 fastback (pics)

Its a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 Fastback Vin# 8K35F103761
It originally came with gold paint, but as of right now its in primer. Everything else is original, excluding the 302cui engine with about 60k miles on it. I will post pics as I go, and expect it to be completed around October 24th.

My plans include: Minor body work, a paint job, front ball joints, and new brake assemblies on the front wheels. (right now it veers slightly to the left when you brake)

Any particular parts you need?

My uncle has one rotting in his yard.
I can't promise you could talk him out of parts, but if you email me, I will forward your wants to him.
Include your phone num. and email so he can contact you if he is interested.
It was his first car... got it when he was 13, then restomodded it.
Now it is cancered up really bad and he is talking about junking it. Used to be a beautiful car.
Being his first though, he might let it sit until it is just flakes on the ground in his back yard... I hope not, there are still a few useable parts left that someone like you would be interested in.

Wow dave, thanks for in help. The only parts missing is the chrome trim around the edge of the front, and rear, and the Fairlane 500 logo is busted on the back and one side. Im sure these parts have long rusted away but if not I would pay for them.

Also I just realized I need a steering wheel too, the one I have is too small for non power steering.

I'll get with him in a day or two and check.
The grille, some trim, maybe some lights, and maybe the dash are all that is in fair shape on the car now.
It brings tears to the eyes to see it.
It was orange with black interior. High back buckets, Falcon Sprint center console, perfect interior panels...
