1968 steering wheel parts??

i have a 68 and am trying to get the original steering wheel put back on it. its the kind with 2 spokes as you can see in hte pic im putting on with this if i can figure out how to make it work. i have the 6 buttons, i have the center pony emblem, i have the silver trim piece, and the recessed horn pad where the buttons and emblem fits in. i just need the plastic piece that goes around the outside of everything. ive checked most the major mustang parts websites like california mustang, mustangs unlimited, johns mustang, mustang depot, KAR, etc etc and nobody has it or im not finding it. does anyone know of a place where i can get this or is my best bet a junkyard?

The bad news...that part is not being repo'ed anywhere that I know of.

The good news...when you search the junkyards, the Fairlanes and Torinos used the same steering wheel in 1968

Its not west coast but they can find almost anything you need. Call'em ask for Steve, he runs the place.
