I got some Speed Pro rod bearings from Summit. When I was about to install them, I noticed that they didn't have a oil feed hole for the piston cooling passage in the rod. Pictured is this boss on the rod, and my old Clevite 77 bearing.

So I wrote an email to Summit (thinking the Speed Pro bearings was defective), and after a few emails exchanged, they informed me that my rod had to be an early unit, and that the piston oiling boss was discontiniued due to production problems and cost. So, should I:
A) Just install my Speed Pro bearings, and cut off the piston oiling?
B) Try to drill the bearings?
C) Just get Clevite 77s with the oil feed hole?
