anyone have pictures of a roll cage in a 69-70 mustang fastback? I'm thinking about putting one cause I'm going to be doing some drag racing when I get mine back going. figured with it striped to bare shell might as well go and fit one in.
I think the shelbys originally had roll cages in them I am sure you could fit one in there. Judging from the mods in your sig you won't be needing a cage, unless you are planning on a blower or something down the road. Don't worry about the cage unless you plan on low elevens or tens. I don't know though if you got the cash it may be worth it, since I hear NHRA changed the rules on cages you need a 10 point cage if you are going to break 10's.
I'm not looking for tens (well, right now I'm not) but I'd rather go ahead and put it in. I still have a lot more left to do on teh motor and trying to figure out a which NOS system I want to use. it's a work in progress. roll cage for this car is going to be one of those thing I'd rather have it and need it, than need it and not have it.
