Pop the distributor cap and look inside, you'll either find two sets of breaker points or one. You'll know what they look like when you see em. There's a 99% chance it's single point distributor.

Thanks for the help...I will look tomorrow. Just sold my '89 GT today ...now its time to work on the '70!

sure enough i just went to google images and some boss 302's had vacuum advance and some didn't, guess i never really paid that much attention after all....

I believe I have a single point distributor...Im going to order the Accel points eliminator part # 2020 and one of the coils they recommend...do I just bolt this part on or do I need to set the timing after Im done...I know people said this is a fifteen minute job. Thanks.
