Alright i have ran in to a little bit of a snag in my resto job on my 72 mach 1. I'm haven problems shuting her down with the key. I have replaced everything to do with the ignishon. I have the bad feeling im going to need a wiring harness. If there is anything im missing please let me know. ive checked the key lock and it seems to be in working order as when i turn the key she starts

thanks

It's probably the ignition switch. First, check to see if the switch retaining screws are loose as it may have shifted. It's a pretty straight forward replacement. Describe the symptoms in more detail.

If you do need one, you're in luck, because new 71 wiring is now available, and there is very little difference between 71 and 72.
