1973 Convertible top questions

I am in the process of changing the top on my car.
If I knew then what I know now, I'd have paid someone else to do this but to late for that .

Can someone measure form the chrome strip on the top of the quarter panel to the screw that holds the little chrome "arrow tip". I bought the top from NPD and it didn't have any instructions with it. I could write a book on all the bad engineering from Ford on the way these tops are installed.

Well we got the top finished
We figured out where the welt tip screws went.

If anyone needs advice on doing this, I 'll be glad to help.

As soon as I sell this one I have another that needs a top and I feel it will be very easy knowing what i know now.
