1983 t5 clutch cable routing/Solution

Hey, I’ve got a 1983 5.0 that k just recently swapped a t5 into. Problem is i can’t seem to find a good way to run the clutch cable. First attempt ended up melting the casing of the cable and compromising the casing. I’ve got long tube bbk headers on the car and I need to find out how to best protect the cable while routing it through the header tubes.
