1985 302 Head Swap

Hi everyone,

So I recently purchased an 85' GT with 31k original miles.
Currently it has the following installed
- Edelbrock performer intake
- Edelbrock performer plus cam
- 2 1/2 stainless flowmaster exhaust
- 8.8" 3:73 gears

I am looking to swap the heads and possibly cam since I believe it's a relatively mild cam (waiting to receive specs).
I would like to go with either AFR 165 or TFS heads.
Does anyone know if the AFR or TFS heads will bolt on and not require any machining on a stock 85' short block?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

AFR 165cc will bolt up without piston modification as well. The 185cc with the bigger valve requires the pistons to be flycut.

Thanks AFRGTStang I am currently leaning towards a set of 165's.
