I was undoing the 30 year tape on my harness getting ready to clean it up and tuck it under the fender and found this fusible link with the insulation cracked open. As soon as I touched it, it broke. It’s coming from a grey/yellow wire. Is this link something I can get at the parts store?
Or should I just replace with a fuse?

The black on either side was just Fords connection for the wires correct? I’m just worried about the link in the middle?

When you get the link from the parts store it will be kinda obvious, clip the old fuse link out at the wire and solder the new one in.

Pep Boys Auto Zone Advanced and a local Mom and pop...... body had it. Best I found was a 16 gauge. And they wonder why everyone just shops online! Amazon to the rescue! I guess I’ll clean up that nasty break booster while I wait!
