I have a '86 4 banger 'stang and im in the process of converting to V8, I just have a quick Q. Will 87-93 parts FIT on my 86? im trying to get a donor/parts car so i can just swap out all the suspension,rearend etc. Please any info would help A LOT.

Most of the parts are interchangeable.

The front spindles, rotors, & calipers from the 87 - 93 would be a good upgrade to your 86.

To add to that, the V8 parts would be an upgrade. 4 banger stuff is the same.

What was there to fix? He specified 87 - 93 Mustangs, nothing about aftermarket or other options. For a budget upgrade going from 10" disc to 11" is a good upgrade.

Yeah my bad I should have specified 5.0 parts, like so many I just made the assumption he would look for the 5.0 parts.

im doing the swap now when finding a parts car i would get up to an 89 because the wire harness ford changed it from 90-93 90 is a stand alone harness as well as 91 92-93 are the same other then that all parts are interchangable good luck with the swap and post plenty of piks
