When inspection comes around, put a stock h pipe on it and it will pass. When you get home, order a off road x pipe and a MAC cat back and you'll never go back.
My 91 LX is a great daily. Granted its unmolested and bone stock but its a great DD. BBBUTTT the gas mileage is the killer, I only get about 14 on a good day for some reason. It should do better but who knows.
How loud is that set up? I don't want something insanely loud, but I do love a nice growl while cruising and a nice angry roar when WOT. And a stock H pipe is all I need to pass? No cats?

That's why I dont want a new stangTell me that's not sexy. Really though, what do you think?

Test drove it on friday and wow is all i can say. Car is in amazing shape. Now just waiting to make sure my car is sold before I take the plunge. So close!!!!
? Its important to remember that it is June, nice, sunny, 80's. That car is in as good a shape as it is cuz it wasn't on the street for January-frozen ice, snow and salt covered roads will absolutely tear up your investment. You will also learn a new kind of driving style with a nice slightly built GT under your foot and 2 to 4 inches of snow coming down with another 6 to 8 on the way- its called "white knuckled" down here south of Chicago
. You will learn how to throttle steer and drift corners-and not the way your Honda does in those movies- second gear starts, long anticipation braking, how to creep roll an intersection cuz if you stop moving you're done moving, all great times!
You will need a winter car in Jersey.trucks FTW, also i dont think it would be a comfy DD if you're above 5'10"

Really? I know a guy whose 6' and he fits just fine in a Fox.
FWIW, I DD my 5.0 Capri and I own an '04 V6 Stang. Foxes can make great DDs if you're not looking for a luxury ride.
