1988 Mustang Gt Coolant Resevoir Question?

Hello, its been a very long time since I have been on the site. I have tried searching for an answer on a few different sources and sites but have come up empty in finding the answer I need. I am probably not wording it correctly.

I have been doing some basic small upgrades to my car and one thing I am looking at doing is getting a new coolant resevoir. I purchased one from late model restoration. Its the Moroso aluminum coolant one. It says it fits 86-93 cars with cap and sensor or cars with caps and no sensors. My car has a sensor. It is a black tube with a float inside of it.

Unfortunately, I get the thing here and of course, the sensor does not fit in the new resevoir.

I am wondering what my options are. Should I send it back and get a new plastic one? Or is there a way to get a 90-93 sensor and cap to work with my wiring?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would send it back in favor of the stock plastic replacement and avoid the unneeded headache of what to do about the new issue it caused.

It's just a coolant reservoir.
