Hello I had a problem last week I was driving on hwy going about 70 75 mph when my stang just died I had power to everything but the engine turned off I tried pressing cluch in and restart but no good lucky was going fast enough that I was able to pull over once I was over I tried turning car over and nothing had power everything but finally I turned car to stop ignition took key out for couple seconds then I tied and started right up any suggestions on what it could be or has anyone experienced this???? Thanks

So let’s clarify something here as it makes a big difference in trying to trouble shoot the problem. When you say you tried to restart it and “nothing” does that mean the starter would not crank the motor or was the starter cranking the motor and it would not fire?

I agree more info needed, but I'm thinking ignition switch. Easy enough to visually check.

I will take your early guess and raise you one TFI module.

I'm driving on freeway and the engine just turned off it's stick shift so I pressed the cluch in and It turned over and over but did not want to make that last start I had power to everything window radio headlights everything im costing down at 75mph trying and trying and nothing I was able to coast to a stop on the side tried to do it again and nothing so turned switch to off position turned off everything took key out. I said let me try again sure enough it started right up and hasn't done it again.

If the ignition switch has not been replaced or if you have no knowledge of has or has not been replaced I would check that. Next up would be the TFI module.

First thing is have you pulled codes? The CEL (check engine light) only illuminates for emissions related codes so there can be codes and no light. So if you have not then check for codes and report back.

Were you speeding?
I've heard stories, you know...satellites....the army....
But I agree with Aerocoupe, ignition switch (it's under the dash by the pedals on the lower part of the steering column, most likely cause) or the TFI.
