1990 Mustang Gt Seat Compatibility Ainterchangeabilityga

I just bought a 1990 mustang & well basically it smells bad & mildewy inside. I want to replace the carpet & seats but Its been hard to find 1990 seat replacements that are in good condition. What year seats (front & back) can I replace for my old seats with no modifications?

Up front, 87-93 seats are the closest, 79-86 should bolt in and be the right height.

Out back, what year did they split the rear bench? At least 87-93 should fit.

Careful. 92-93 seats are not the same. I think they would fit just fine but they are not the same. Actually I think they are more comfortable.

Replacing old seats without mods was I was focusing on. Sport seats and different trim models may vary, but the same 4 bolts hold them down. So unless you go with power seats, the fronts even bolt in on the wrong side. The release lever and lumbar will just be pn the wrong side.

The seats that came in the car originally are power seats but they dont work, i would be ok with having manual seats but if i did find a seat that wasnt powered can i still hook them up right?
