1990 Oem Radio

In some recent wiring work I had done on one of my Foxbody cars I seem to remember looking at one of the wiring diagrams and or fuse diagrams. I seem to remember seeing a dedicated circuit for radio display. Maybe there’s a specific circuit for radio display and memory. Maybe it’s not receiving power on your car.

The backlighting is actually just a little bulb. When they burn out, you can't see chit. If the radio works, but display is dark...try a bulb
THAT WORKED !!!!!
Got the "kit" (a bulb,a test wire, a CD instruction - 2 outta 3 not needed) on eBay for $10 and now IT WORKS!. I swear I saw that bulb in a 2-pk at AutoZone for $4.95. I hooked a test light up to one of my 2 radios and there was a snap and I smelled sumpthin' burn. I think there must be a circuit I may have fried even though the radio still plays fine. Anyway...the original still works now. AND it was worth the $5 for that wire-tool to take those radios out.
