Yep, I got the word at 12:30am today. I was very surprised. Word was that he was going to the Bucs but the Packers somehow got Favre over to the Jets.

This is a big move for Favre!
One of these days hes going to get to tell his grand kids he played his home games in the same stadium as Eli Manning!

Football season around the corner. Can't wait

Browns first preseason game is Thursday night. :nice: I will be glued to my tv :D
They finally shaped up to be a team to look out for this season. Gained another WR threat in Stallworth , picked up a few defense of players to help out the D. As long as there secondary hangs in there they should be close to a top 5 team.

LETS GO BROWNS!

EDIT:
Forgot to mention I will be going to the 3 games this year
Monday night against the G-man
Thursday night againts Broncos
and then afternoon game against Texans

I did have two Sunday night tickets against the Steelers that my buddy and I were going to go to but sold them for some Ohio State tickets since I never been to The ’Shoe :nice:

You didn't wanna go to that Steelers game anyway, unless you wanna see them raped.

The Bengals offense isnt a joke, but their D could barely stop a high school team let alone a NFL team.

I know their D sucks ass. Last year, their front line sucked too...couldn't protect the QB worth a damn. I'm hoping they've worked out those kinks because with they really have an offense capable of producing big points and could be a threatening team. Its sad that such a talented offense is going to waste.

You guys would actually enjoy watching Ben Roethlisberger's hairy ass?

Once the announcer who was calling the plays said after a pass to a TE....

"Big Ben really likes his tight ends."

Maybe he's the ghey?

damn this jets trade has been eating away at me all last night and today and as much as i LOVE brett i am gonna go ahead and say this was a bad idea on his part. he shoulda accepted a staff position at green bay. just ruining everything that i always loved about brett. oh well its done i hope he proves me wrong.

Why should he have had to accept anything? All he wanted was an oppourtunity to compete with Rodgers for the job. The GM Thompson wanted him gone and those two never got alone since basically day one.

You wish Bakos! The Steelers are a shoe in for the AFC North again like most years.

If we didn't screw ourselves last year towards the end of the season the Steelers wouldn't even had made it in the playoffs.
I feel this year the Browns are in :nice:
We shall see though.

Let the games begin. and I don't mean the Olympics, which start today :D

Side note:
Browns first string looked real good last night against the Jets. There D looked a little improved, front line stopped the run now which is a plus, still have to work on there secondary a little though.

Oh yeah, How about that catch from Edwards. :nice:

I agree with this dude! While I'm rooting for the Bengals to be the champs....I think the Browns are on their way up and the Steelers are overrated punks.

:D

I wish he'd have done that also...he will be back though.

I think the Saints will be tough to beat. Upgrades on the defense and a healthy offense. I think the rest of the league better have a good deal of respect for them.

Nice to see this thread back, means the NFL Regular season is right around the corner :nice: Time for the Patriots to do some unfinished business from last season.

I watched most of the pre season game thurs night VS the Ravens. I liked what I saw for the most part especially on Defense. Jarod Mayo is a FORCE!!!! Hes going to be awesome and Merriweather got some good play time and looked very good as well. Most of the starters were benched so I was not expecting a great game I just wanted to see how the new and last years players were going to do. Richard Seymore looked healthy and at full speed which is not good for a lot of QB's and RB's in the league. Lamont Jordon was running the ball very well, great pick up for the Patriots this season.

Are we going to do a Fantasy Football league like last year? If so who's setting it up? Id really like to do it again this year considering Im the defending Champion :D

I'm attempting to set up the Fantasy league now for those of you who are interested. I'll make a separate thread since I did win it all last year.
