The month of September will for now always be remembered for two things.

September 11th 2001- The day the twin towers fell

September 7th 2008- The day Tom Brady fell

I still dislike the steelers even though I don't believe they are responsible for that picture.

I actually find that somewhat disrespectful.

Tom Brady being injured, Osi getting hurt...while upsetting in the NFL scheme of things...is nothing compared to the tragic events on 9/11.

I'm honestly sickened by that comment....

Very true.. I am not sickened by the comment but a season ending injury does not compare with a terrorist attack that killed thousands, ruined our economy ( in the months after) and changed life forever in this country.

I meant no disrespect. I'll refrain making that sort of reference in the future.

I remember seeing the smoke from the World Trade Center while heading West to work on the Long Island Expressway on that fateful day.

I was amazed at how fast the whole country seemed to pull together immediatly afterward. The evil bastards who planned this had no idea that it would cause our resolve to harden. They thought we'd be chitting our britches. Now they know how wrong they were. The USA will not put up with acts of cowardly terrorism, ever.

Good job on taking it out of context though!

Yeah, which is what the media did in the first place....and made it sound worse than it was.

Just IMO, I wouldn't go that far. I'm pretty sure it was tongue in cheek and while it wasn't the best thing to say, I'm sure it was meant in good fun and not meant to be disrespectful.

Well seemed like some people though so. I only said that September will always be remembered for two things. Never said they were on the same level of importance. If brady never comes back as the QB he once was then that day will ring even more importance.

Brady's injury shocked the NFL world, 9/11 shocked America. two very different events just that they both happened so close together but have no reference of being "similar"
