So who do you think ... Majority of people once thought the world was flat too. Sorry, I don't subscribe to that theory.

I agree

I have seen the light! :D lol

I'm a Cowboy-hater stuck right in the heart of Cowboy Country :nonono:... Everyone always says, "how bout them cowboys!".. Everyone loooooves the cowboys and HATES the Patriots down here, makes me sick :barf:

I feel for you... at least I am in friendly territory 10 miles by car from gillette stadium can't get much more patriot country than that.

apparently no one in this thread can read lols.

anywho the dallas and eagles game should be a good one mcnabb looked awesome last week and on paper the cowboys may be the best team in the league. but we all know how teams look on paper doesn't necessarily mean that they will play that way.

The really big thing holding the Cows back from reaching the next level aside from the Giants is their head coach, Wade Phillips. I hope he stays there a long time. Wade has never won a single playoff game as a HC. This is probably his last year. Jerrah will probably replace him with Garret at the end of this season.

Why? I did the quoting for you. Thats the problem with this thread, a whole lot of emotional posts but no factual evidence to back it up.

OK give us all the facts then on why and how cutler has a more powerful arm then Manning, Favre, Brady, and that he is more accurate (since i believe you said he was earlier)

Also give us all the facts that makes your receiving corps the best in the NFL.

The Cow/Eagle game should be a good one. Hopefully its a battle - however I would like for both team to loose :) :D

I think Cutler has the ability to be a great QB in this league, but Favre could out throw him at his current age. Favre has the best arm I have ever seen. Id say at this point Manning and especially Brady are significantly more accurate than Cutler. Not to say he wont get there but he has a helluva long way to go to be an elite top 5 QB, he can start by actually making the playoffs and maybe winning a game too.

great now we have to listen to him a little longer..

this is the same guy who compares loosing brodie croyle to loosing brady... who also thinks matt cassel was not a drop off last sunday.. who also expected brady who did not play since feb to somehow light the cheifs up when both of his drives ended in WR fumbles.

that last one confuses me the most..

Do you honestly expect a logical argument.

Ok guys, I took a night to sleep on it and I wanted to come out and make some apologies. Things got heated, which is normal for football discussions, but at times it definetly crossed the line and both sides said some things that shouldn't have been said. I still stand by my opinions I posted about the teams, but apologize for things getting so heated.

So for my part in that, I apologize to Redline, Jason, SVTTech and whoever else got caught in the crossfire. I'm sorry guys.

A few of us got a little carried away, hopefully we can put that behind us and look forward to week 2...and hopefully the injury bug stays away this week.

QBR doesn't tell the whole story. I suspect Cutler will be the best of the young QB's the NFL has. The good ones get a little better every year. I would not be surprised if he was a top 5 guy in 2-3 years though. However, he hasn't won squat yet and has some work to do to get to that level.

I just wanted to mention (this will be my last post on this for this week, i promise) but last year Cutler was in his 1st full year as a starter, playing with undiagnosed diabetes (lost 20-30lbs) behind an injury depleted OL and missing Javon Walker for most the year.

Given all that, I think we can all agree he exceeding expectations for a 2nd year player. :nice:

Ok....on to week 2! :flag:
