Cool the football thread is back.. let the fights begin

BTW I love this farve trade this lets the jets fans THINK they have a chance and that makes the two rat bowls this year more interesting. I am hoping for 1-15 for the jests with farve throwing 35 picks and the backstabber loosing his job.

I am just messing with you giants fans.. But seriously it's tough to repeat.. many teams have a poor season after a SB win, the Cinderella type teams suffer from this often.. but hey even if they go 8-8 this year I bet you and all giants fans will agree that the huge win last year is worth even two seasons of SB hangover.

Agreed 100%.. Last season was amazing for me (and most all g-men fans).. The nieve ones will want another SB. I just want them to be over .500 and have a decent season.. I love football!

Patriots won the superbowl in the 01 season and did not make the playoffs in 2002. Repeating and staying consistently good year in and year out is very hard. Im just going to soak up the Brady era as much as I can for as long as it lasts b/c after he is gone I doubt there will be anyone else like him to come around again for a very long time.

I know the subject has come up before and I dont want to get into it all over again but I realize its a lot more then just Brady for the record. There have been many other players that have made the teams success possible but Brady has been the one constant. Since 2001 many players have come and gone but Brady has always been there and the one to lead the team

Just don't like him, has nothing to do w/ the super bowl I'm not that spiteful I just never liked the guy. Im curious to see how the Giants do and if they fall victim of the post superbowl season hang over which many teams have

I never liked Eli either, there is just something about him I don't like. Peyton I really don't care for but I will watch him. I like how he runs his offense, all the audibles and stuff. He is fun to watch
