I never liked Eli either, there is just something about him I don't like. Peyton I really don't care for but I will watch him. I like how he runs his offense, all the audibles and stuff. He is fun to watch
Eli is teh lose

I dont mind Peyton hes a great QB and fun to watch and he knows how to lead the team. I just dont like it when he does well against the Patriots.

Preseason week #4 Patriots VS the Giants. Should be interesting.

Nah. snoozefest. Neither team's starters will see more than the 1st quarter.
Most teams like the Giants use the pre-season to evaluate players- see who makes it and who gets cut. Try out a few new player combinations, etc. All vanilla on O and D.

A few teams like the Jets, have historically played the pre-season games as if they count. Starters will be held in long enough to insure a win. I don't think the Pats do this.

I say half time. Preseason is for the new players and if they will play or not but each preseason game the starters play more and more. They need live in game action before jumping into the season as well. I predict 1/2 a game for the Patriots VS Giants.

None the less - it will be an interesting watch. See how each team conducts themselves in the first meeting since the SB

I'm sure they will conduct each other just fine I don't think that's really the issue I just think the wounds of the superbowl are far from being healed as far as the patriots go and even though being preseason they still would want to stick it to the giants, and from the giants side I hear a lot about how they are not expected to do well this year and really don't have any respect despite beating a team that went 16-0 so despite being a preseason game they want to prove that they are the better team.

But nonetheless its still a preseason game and neither coach will risk injuries of starters just to prove a point that can be easily as prove by how well the do during the season.

The game we all want to see is November 2nd between the reigning cheaters and the team that continually seems to underperform in the playoffs.

Pats vs Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Im sure the retractable roof will be tightly sealed.

At worst the pats will be 6-1 and the Colts should be 7-0

The Colts have a pretty tough strech starting the week before NE.

Tennesee @ Tenn
Pats @ home
Pittsburgh @ Pitt
Houston @ Home
San Diego @ San Diego
Cleveland @ Cleveland

They play 5 of the top AFC teams in the course of 6 games. Then throw in Jacksonville twice a game @ Minnesota and @ Green Bay, yikes.

ohh god here we go again with darkshadow polluting another years football thread with cheater crap..

this year I am not playing this game with you and the few others like you on here...
I have learned now that you can try to teach the ill informed, and sometimes you can knock the pollution that is media hype out of a open minded person... but no matter how hard you try it's impossible to stop a hater from being a hater... and you are the stereotypical hater.

I am looking forward to the pats/indy game.. should be a great game

I'm looking forward to shoving the score right up Darkshadow's ass

Let him keep hating, only shows how envious he is of the Patriots and what they have done b/c hes the only one that cant see the situation for what is is and let it go. Colts/Peyton will never = Brady/Patriots and that just keeps him driving the hater band wagon!!!!!!

FULL SPEED AHEAD HATER!!!!!!

i cant wait till the season starts on saturday seen the Dallas vs. San Diego game, Dallas played real good with its starters and scored on their first possesion.

After they pulled the starters, the back ups and new guys couldnt move the ball but saw some good potential in some of them.

Hey I agree with you guys 3 rings is better than 1. No one can dispute that. I wouldnt say the Colts will never be the Pats but time will tell.

But to the cheating thing, jesus it was a joke. I even was talking smack about my own team. Get over yourselves. I just think its really funny that even after a year it still gets to you.

Not really I was laughing the whole time while typing that. I thought Driver of the hater band wagon was pretty funny . I think the only ones who really got over it were the Patriots fans. Everyone else was expecting a huge scandel and that the dumb ass saying he had the Rams walk through on tape would actually amount to anything all the time everyone else realized that it was just a bunch of crap. Anyway lets not have the entire NFL thread taken up on this topic again as it consumed much of the thread last year and as myself and the other patriots fans stated many times it will amount to a bunch of crap which did.

If pre season is a precursor of things to come then the Saints defense is picking up where they left off last season. Jason David is just useless. How the Colts ever kept him around is beyond me. He hasn't a clue.

Actually, I could be mistaken but I think the "crap" cost Belichick $500,000 and the Pats had to give up their 1st round draft pick in 2008.

Good! I've been temped to refer to the "Browns" as the "Pumpkins" on many occasions.
