I dunno, I think they should have tried and worked out a deal to get Jay Cutler. He is the most accurate QB in the NFL w/ the best arm

Lets not have a pile on..
I am glad my PC broke the day of the SB since I probably would have gone off the handle with the pile on that was targeted at redline. I really don't want to see another member suffer the same thing

I don't see anything on your roster that would make a fair trade. Sorry, not interested.

I bet Shanahan is kicking himself. He declined a trade opportunity to bring in Randy Moss right before the Pats got him; it was said that "he's got nothing left and he can't run like he used to." Good call Denver![]()

Don't feel bad.. Green Bay did the same. They're both probably shaking their heads. Belichick knew what he could do, that's why they got him.![]()
No worries. It got heated earlier in the year but it's a football thread and football is a violent sport that gets people fired up.We're all adults here and can throw smack around, and with the exception of the beginning of the year it's all stayed pretty much football focused.
I won't speak for anyone else, but personally I can have a very heated football debate with someone but once the game is over all the bad feelings are left behind.![]()
I believe it's was Green Bay's GM that said that, not anyone in the Denver organization.
I don't think it had anything to do with talent.
A) Moss is getting up in years, Denver is in the middle of a youth movement.
B) At the time we probably wouldn't have been able to fit Moss under the salary cap, especially when it came time to resign him
C) Denver has been ridding itself of low character guys, and Moss has had well documented problems and motivational issues.
Plus, we already had Brandon Marshall and (at the time) a healthy Javon Walker. We couldn't really afford to blow picks on Moss.

Same here, unless somebody really strikes a nerve.
My bad, you're right. It was Green Bay who said he couldn't run. Denver wouldn't take him for whatever reasons, Davis didn't expand on it in his retarded speech. I just find it crazy that those two didn't take him, but oh well.. worked out for the better anyways!![]()
You're a good dude. We may go back and forth on football but I'd still go to a tailgate with you. Redline too, but I already knew him from the 94-95 section.
Personally I would have taken Moss. I always liked him in Minnesota and I thought some of his "problems" were blown out of proportion, but even with that said I dunno that it would have worked with the salary cap.
Only problem is it's really hard to get somebody up to speed mid season.. Hopefully one of the guys we have now can at least keep the offense on the field
He sure would be a big improvement over matt cassel.. maybe he would throw the ball or do something other than panic and hold it and get sacked.

So what's eli going to do this week w/ out Buress, he'll be missing his tallest receiver. Who's going to catch his notoriously high passes.
Hopefully due to this they run Jacobs more so I can get some fantasy points

After the bi week I expect the Patriots to come out and play a great game considering the blow out from the week before. If they come out and play a lack luster game it wont be good even if they win

(trying to look for the silver lining lol)
