Yeah I will watch but I expect them to have trouble scoring. If they win that will be cool another thing to point and laugh at the chargers about.

Haha yeah

If the Colts, Broncos, Chargers, or Steelers lose to us this year i'll have to point and laugh. It's not that we're terrible, but we're just not the team we were last year with Brady. If we can make the playoffs, i'll be extremely excited.

Anyone else hear of Pacman's latest incident? Fight with the bodyguard Jerry Jones assigned to him inside the hotel's bathroom. Happened early Wednesday morning. Word is spreading.....

I wonder if either Jerrah or Roger will give the bastid the final boot?

That's a very unusual thing to say. Most fans of other teams hate Eli because of his refusal to committ his NFL career to a team that at the time was a horrible bumbling franchise.

If I was a fan of a team outside of the NFC East, I think I'd like Eli. He is a quiet young man, student of the game, hard worker and pretty giving off field. He's not a jackass or calls attention to himself at all unlike many big time NFL players. I really like the fact that when he's in there, the game is never really over. He gives his team a chance to make a comeback and he can make many different types of throws. Nothing seems to phase him as if he has ice in his veins.

Cutler seems like a very good young QB too. He's got less experience than Eli but is improving all the time.

I dont necessarily agree with his decision involving the chargers as I was in the same position with Elway refusing to sign with the Colts but I just root for him because he is Peytons Brother. Plus I am a big fan of anyone who beats the football team from Boston.

I heard about it yesterday, talk about being stupid!! Jerry has already told him that he's on a short leash and will not be given the benefit of the doubt before they signed him. However, Jerry says it's not bad enough to warrant a suspsenion or fine, so that will have to come from the league, if at all. They can't afford to lose him now that Newman is out for at least 6 weeks.

I think the league should end this stupid game now before Pacman is somehow involved in another death/shooting.

You really don't think that is that far off base, do you?

Cutler can't compare to Elway. Thats just an insult to Elway. At least not now in his career.

Exactly. The guy might have a strong arm, but come on. He can't be making comparisons to Elway until after he's taken his team to a couple SB's.

A stronger arm doesnt mean he is better. Hell Jamarcus Russel and Kyle Boller both have unbelieveable cannons but both have sucked it up thus far.

Jamarcus Russel has the strongest arm I've ever seen. Even stronger than Eddie George, who sucked.

I agree. But Elway had an amazing arm, I think it was much better than Cutlers so far.. however, Cutler could make fools out of us who oppose what he said.

Beat me to it.

You think so? I gotta disagree. Russell can get a lot of distance on his throws but alot of the longer ones turn into floaters. He doesn't have the deep velocity that guys like Elway, George, Cutler and Favre have/had.

Elway did have an amazing arm, but so does Cutler.

When that little tidbit hit the Broncos forum I'm on, quite a few knowledgeable people have said it's very possible, including the son of one of our former defensive coordinators and a guy who is a sportswriter up in Fort Collins. Both were around in Elway's day and think Jay has better zip on his throws than John did.

Take it easy. I know you're upset that Cutler has topped Big Ben by throwing for 555 more yards, 3 more touchdowns, 22 more first downs, been sacked 16 times less and has a 98.1 rating to Ben's 95.7....but Ben is still pretty good in his own right.

Switching gears a bit, Pro Football Talk is reporting that Tony Gonzalez has requested a trade and the Giants are one of the teams in the running. PFT is notorious for sloppy reporting, so take it for what it's worth though.

In any case I say, good, wreck the Chiefs even further.
