IThe Refs screwing NE before the game starts (Pittsburgh has had officials apologize after almost every game for blowing huge calls this year)

After the NE TD the posts, "Game over"

Dan Dierdorf being accused of pulling for the Steelers

The weather being bad for NE and stopping raining for Pittsburgh

Seeing every "uncalled penelty" for Pittsburgh but never pointing out NE getting away with any

The fact that the game didn't count cause Brady didn't play

And the fact that if Brady was in that the Defence would play better cause he lifts the whole team

And my favorite, "I think Pittsburgh is stealing the Offensive signals, they seem to know every play!" . . .Well is that not Ironic

I dont think any of those were a factor or true to begin with.

Yes but Baltimore was not playing very good defenc4es either. I was at the Baltimore game earlier this year and it much like NE, was a tale of two havles. But I agree it will be a tough game. The best two D's in the league going at it. Its always a brutal game between those two

Ravens have had 3 points scored on them over the past two weeks. Looks like they are playing the best football of the season at the right time. I think the loss to the giants kicked them in the ass much like the giants loss to the patriots did.

I just like to call it as I see it regardless of it goes against what I want to see happen such as the Patriots loss to the steelers or if I get to rub it in someones face that their team got pounded.

The patriots got beat at their own fundamentals. They are a second half adjustment team and they came out and got smacked around in the second half. I put this loss on cassel for the most part b/c hes not the Brady replacement everyone makes him out to be. The first fumble off the kick off and the TD pittsburgh put up b/c if it was not a deal breaker on a team lead by Brady. I can see Brady getting stripped the first time, not the second time b/c of his pocket awareness and not throwing 2 ints that killed drives that could have put points on the board. The patriots defense is banged to hell due to injuries but Cassel did not do a good enough job of keeping them off the field.

Actually they had ten. they do look good right now (Ravens) but Pittsburgh makes a living confusing and baiting your QB's (Cassel) into making fatal mistakes. They are playing well right now but The Steelers got to be doing something right cause they have remained one game ahead for a long time.

As far as NE,
I think on that day they got beat by a better team. On that day. Injuries played a big role I know. But as far as who was on the field and who wasn't, Pittsburgh had no business to loose that game. If both teams are healthy its a good game.

Their still scary good right now.

Id put the Ravens and Steelers as the top teams in the AFC right now. Patriots are just not going to get it done and the Titans are not who their record shows they are.

I agree. they played and beat a Colts team that had yet to begin to play anykind of football. The Jags are horrid. The two teams who are usually competitive in that division were not playing how they usually do. Although I still believe the Titans are a real good team. I just think Pittsburgh, Baltimore or the NY Giants would give them a bit more than they can handle

The Giants beat both of those teams this year. They are playing really good football.

The Browns also beat the Giants, but that doesn't make them a better team.

Fluke? No, they were better on that day. I was using the same logic MrVax was, so the Browns>Giants. Of course the Browns aren't better than the Giants. I wouldn't be so quick to assume the Giants>Steelers-Ravens either.

I'm not assuming they are better or saying anything of the point.. But the Giants were beat by the browns, the browns were better that day.. Giants Beat the Steelers in pitt, Dallas, Philly in philly, washington 2wice, and romped on b-more. Its a little more then just one win against a good team.

Not putting down the steelers,, i think if the giants and steelers played 10 times whey would split honestly.

Whoo whoo, Browns ....It amazes me how they can go out and whoop the Giants, which were undeafeted at that point, and are/were the best team in the league, but yet, we have a 4-9 record

Just goes to show no win is a guarantee in the NFL.... Unless your playing Detroit

True, Both teams are playing better football than they were at that game (Pitt Vs NY). Pittsburgh has been playing very well actually. Their O is better than the numbers tell. But have worlds to improve.
I heard an Intresting stat today. The Pittsburgh Defence has not given up 300 yards yet to any team so far. Also have only given up 20 + points in three games. But in two of those It was not really on the D. Jax had a pcik go for 6 which put them over 20 and the Giants had a saftey when James Harrison longsnapped a ball through the back of the endzone after Warren, the longsnapper, tore his MCL that game.

Some food for thought but Dallas has one hell of an O when they show up so that could be in jepardy

Think of it this way, you hopefully got all of your QB injuries out of the way for a few years and your coach . . .well that dude was over-rated the whole time. But more so bad luck coupled with terrible exacution gives you the kind of season you have had. That and when the two best D's in the league are in your division doesn't help either

Yeah hopefully we will get everything turned around for next season. Crennell was suppose to be this huge defensive guru, well, we see how that tuned out , Edwards just blows this year. He has about 20 dropped balls. Half of those were on key downs. I actually see them trying to get rid of him this year also. Who knows though.
And as much as I hat to say it. Steelers D is just wicked.
