Resolved 1991 Foxbody 5.0 LX Coupe cranks and no start.

I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve, and with the key on I got 42 PSI so it's getting fuel. I pulled a sparkplug out and it's clean not fuel fouled. I checked the screaming Deamon coil for spark with a spark tester and got no spark, how many ohms should I get from the coil with it just sitting there all unplugged? maybe I need a new one? as well as the TFI module what do you guys think? also, my water pump is leaking through the weep hole on the pump was looking at this https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinf...nfo.php?pk=948840&cc=1134010&pt=2208&jsn=1573 what do you think of gates water pumps? also since I had my battery disconnected for like 4 weeks while I waited to get my Ecu back from EcuExchange.
got it back reinstalled it, and hooked up the battery, if I buy this INNOVA 3145 Ford Digital OBD1 Code Reader will I get any codes?

Might be your black ecu ground connector "green in pic" ?? Mine was running fine I moved a couple wires close to it to secure to fenderwell n no spark or injector pulse?... I pushed it together n it moved so little I wasn't sure it moved at all, hit key n it started right up. This is pic is an SVO so yours may be in a diff place ??

I did the injector test and it pulsed while cranking it over, does that mean the PIP is ok in the distributor? I had a brand new distributor installed like 2 years years ago, I think the TFI module is at fault because they never put my old Motorcraft TFI back on just the one that came on with the new distributor.

That is a good indication that the PiP is good.

on start-up, my Tach would jump up to the red line like the new cars do lol, or when I'm driving it would do the same thing. does that mean the PIP going bad or the aftermarket TFI? I had a brand new aftermarket distributor that came with a TFI module that was installed 2 years ago. I had an aftermarket small tach that uses yellow pills for shift points. installed like 3 years ago too. this all started last summer late August 2022 after going for a drive I parked in the garage shut the car off then restarted it to adjust the space for 2 cars, I put it in reverse and gave it some gas and it stalled and would not restart just crank I have Injector pulse tested with a noid light and the spark plugs are clean and fuel pressure is 42 PSI even pulled the spout and still no spark. the Speed Demon coil is getting power I tested the coil with an incandescent tester it lights up on the hot side and negative side on the coil with the key on but I get no pulsing light on either side when cranking it over and the Ecu is rebuilt. so is it PIP or TFI module?

So my understanding is the ECU only controls the timing changes. The TFI is what pulses the coil to get spark. Read jrichker’s post (#6) in this thread:

Why would you want a Moderator to delete this? Typically when the problem is solved the OP states what solved the problem and the thread stays around for those that may be in the same situation and can search the board and possibly find a solution to their problem.

Because I reading in other topics from people's foxbody problems that Genral Kartheif said on another post from someone he was pissed about some of these problems people asked never concluded to answer if they were solved or not so i thought it should be deleted. Because it was solved . So Yes the new TFI SOLVED my problem she Purrs like a kitten again and she is going in for a new water pump,thermostat and O2 Sensors. Thanks for everyone's help

Really, it happens too often, post up a car issue, get a few suggestions and they never come back to say what fixed the issue, I personally think it's because they found they either caused the issue or it was something overlooked.
The more posts here that show a resolution the more times a Google-fu search brings them to
