Most people use the offset bushings to get the rack lower for oil pan clearance with an aftermarket k, then use the bumpsteer kit to correct that geometry. Some k's just move the rack down on its own as well, so watch for that
Yeah that’s honestly pretty cool seeing drag cars with the same productsI just did a upr kit in my own car after all these years. My buddy Nicks @84Ttop car that I crew on at the track has the upr stuff in it too and it has taken plenty of abuse. 4.90s to the 1/8th . 8.0 out the back on an easy pass, Numerous landings from like this . Hopefully that will ease your mind some .
There are plenty !Yeah that’s honestly pretty cool seeing drag cars with the same products
Yeah I used the Mopar Type F fluid that VW sells since that’s where I work but it is pretty loud I need to get some of that Lucas stuffUse type F fluid in the pump, it's what was meant to go in there from the factory.
I’ll go buy some tommrow cause my new one is pretty loud but it’s so nice knowing I have one less thing leaking the only thing left to fix is the rear main leakAdd just a little of the lucus power steering fluid and it will keep that motor quiet too. I just redid the steering in my black mustang a couple months ago.
Ford sells a reman power steering pump for like 80 bucks or somethingGlad you guys figured that out. I had a nightmare of a time getting one to be quiet in a Ranger I have and ended up buying a used Ford one off ebay because nothing I did including trying different fluid made that reman quieter.
Yeah it’s the way to go way better then the power steering fluid that auto parts store sellI can vouch for Type-F. O'Reilly still sells a house brand of Type-F. The original pump in my Mercury is very quiet.
thanks man appericate it . shes come along way deff way better from the first day i picked her upNice car
