1992 E-Brake needs to be tightened.

But I can't find the nut, or bolt that the book is explaining. Where is it?

I pulled the console off, and the handle is exposed, but I can't find a nut to tighten.

Is the nut somewhere else in the interior or is this nut under the car?
I have drum rear brakes.

Thanks for the help guys

your e-brake tensioners are located at the rear brakes proper.

Most likely your cables have stretched, and the only way to fix it is to change the cables. If your shoes are shot it will improve a bit, but not all the way. I'm in the same situation, and I have to change the cables too.
