Hey I am new to the sn 95 thing....... I had 3 foxes before and I really wnated an sn 95 convertible. So I would appreciate it if I can ask some questions.

First, how much does a 95 convertible weight

Second, are they capable of running in the 14's with a full exhaust and 4.10's?????

Third are they less maintance then an 87-93 fox body???

thank you guys so much

Mine weighed 3480 with everything factory in it.

If you have a good track near sea level, I am sure you could get into the 14's w/ gears and exhaust, no problem.

Maintenance is pretty much the same. It has new components like the electric fan, upgraded alt, new dash setup, etc which can add to the potential problem list.

For what it's worth, The 2 parts I have had to replace on the car were the IAC valve, and the LPS (a/c). And the IAC only went bad b/c I cleaned it, lol! But I haven't passed the 90k mile mark yet, so i know it will grow with time.

Hope that helps. Good luck in your searching.
Scott

Yes

Although I have ALWAYS liked that older body style (and owned one) The tops in the 87-93's had a tendency to not clamp as well in wind and the 87-93 had a lot more squeaks and rattles. Only squeak in my sn95 was that dam plastic around the shifter that I filled with "great stuff" now no more squeaky.
