So I recently got this manual 1995 GT with only 44k original miles, the car is great overall. BUT, I couldn't help but notice it has a rough idle (the engine shakes considerably but nothing too crazy) and can't maintain stable RPM's at idle (altough you can barely notice the difference, the needle moves a bit). Also, after quickly snapping the throttle, the RPM returns slowly.
Spark plug wires are fine, checked the cylinder firing order and is fine, there's no check engine light. Still didn't check for vacuum leaks, I will perform a compression test tomorrow. One last thing that I noticed, there's like a "gap" and the car shutters between gears at times, almost feels underpowered. Maybe it's the MAF? IAC? Hope you guys can help.
And if it helps somehow, the car has 3.73 gears and an Explorer intake, other than that, pretty stock.
