ok so will i be able to use my stock headers on these heads until i can get some good aftermarket ones right....anything elsei should know when examining them besides surface straightness etc.... they are going to be coming alon with some 1.7 rr and was wondering if those clear the stock fox valve covers which i do believe are the tallest stock.....if i remeber correctly the sn95 guys use our valve covers??? but i could be backwards... so much sensitive interchangeability AHHHHH!!!!!

I would take them to a machine shop and at least have them checked out, then get new springs and a valve job. Yes you can use your stock headers, and you might have to clearance the oil baffle on the fox valve covers to make the 1.7's work.

ok well i picked them up,,pretty good shape just need some cleaning, head bolts, intake, and a gasket set!

now all i need to know if im correct on a couple things, i keep getting mixed reviews...
i want to get a explorer intake to keep the factory 5.0l badge(sleeper style) and wanted to know which year is a direct swap....or is that possible...like the act and egr....

and valve covers, people say the valve covers wont clear 1.7s.(crane cams) and others say they will..........
