get a V6 cover and modify it to fit the 5.0

Why modify it, just drill and tap a second hole. Nobody will ever see it and those that get down and look with not know the difference.

If I recall correctly, I don’t think there is enough material on the V6 cover to simply drill a hole for the 5.0 bell housing.

Not what I meant. Keep the V6 hole and drill a new hole in the V8 bell.

Ah, yes. That would also be a better option.

I stumbled across a 94 GT in the wreckers today and scored the T5. Some idiot before me decided they had a better way to get a starter out ...

They wrecked the starter and left it behind. Needless to say the bellhousing was garbage. I did grab the dust cover and bolt though. They are still out there.

When you show up to the yard without the right tools, you grab a pry bar and get angry.
