1996 eclipse

i have the oppertunity to trade my mustang gt for a 1996 eclipse
its got coil overs all around 17" wheels and exhaust 4 cyl 2.0 5 spd red exterior and black interior do you guys think i should do it? the guy wants my car for a drag car i told him my tranny and my rear end is kinda limping but he says hes gonan replace all of it.. what do you guys think?

An N/A eclipse?


Dude, don't do it. My sis has that exact same car. It's a '96 GS non-turbo. It's the slowest car in the world, handles like crap and is a POS to work on. I keep trying to get her to sell it but she won't.

My Mom had a 98 Eclipse auto 2.0 pos years ago. DIRT FUGGING SLOW! I have seen a couple like it run 12.4's in the 1/8. It handled like complete ****. It stopped horrible. Had the cheapest seats ever that were so uncomfortable, the door had this hard ass plastic that you couldnt even rest your arm on.

I HATED that car and DESPISE THE FUGG OUT OF DSM's thanks to that ****box!

hey those cars are crap I wouldn't buy it. There engines are junk so is the electrical. Ive talked to so many people that have owned the older eclipse and said that all they are is problems

if you do.. sell it asap to buy mod for the saleen to make it faster... id sure hate to see a mustang go for a rice burner.. i got a 95 grand prix ill trade you.. brand new everything except the frame and body... i got 10k invested in the rotting hell hole.. id only get 2k for it but i got all the receipts for it.. ill take either car off your hands.. infact ill take the eclips and have it crushed for you.. your only gonna get 35/ 4 tops for a clips.. theres no telling what you could get for a stang.. think it threw!
