I recently have thought about doing a big upgrade once the engine and transmission has had it. Currently I have 85,000 miles on my mustang and I don't know how much life it has left. Regular maintence is always done and it runs good. Once the engine and transmission has had it I was wondering can I fit a 1996 Cobra engine and transmission in my GT? What all parts would I have to get in order to do that upgrade?:SNSign:
You pretty much need a trans cooler for reliability.4R70W FTW - 80k of hard driving on mine, if you cycle the fluids(flush/repump) and change filter then that trans will keep you moving for years.

As long as it's their stacked plate version it should be fine. Not sure the volume capacity of it - but the description shows it to be a good size, and they make good stuff.How are the Mishimoto tranny coolers? Any good? Having one installed soon.
