i read a thread about headgasket replacement and noted that you can re-use the head bolts....does neone know the tourque required to do this.....id really like to save the $33.oo for headbolts.....and if any has a step by step for it ...id really appreciate it.....thanx....

do yourself a favor and go get the haynes manual for your car. Thats what i used when i did the ranger header swap. I did reuse the bolts, i just torqued them all down in the right pattern then i went back and snugged them up. I probably should have used a torque wrench, but oh well. If you really dont wanna get a manual, let me know, ill check my book and tell ya. oh, by the way, my header was off a 96, just so you know.

personnally if it was me, i would buy the new bolts. head bolts stretch when torqued down and when they are reused they dont hold the same the second time. may save you more money if they end up causing head gasket problems in the future. just an opinion.

:D
