im nto asking thsi for myself - my teacher has a 1998 GT. auto, 3.73's, NOVI 2000 (w/ stock ECU ), X-pipe & catback, and subframes. he keeps saying how he wants to find a strut tower brace - but he wants an adjustable one, like some of the imports (read: ricers) have so he can correct some of the sagging in his strut towers. does anybody make anythign like that for SN-95's?

sagging strut towers? have it fixed by a pro alignment shop and buy a solid STB.

adding more stiffness to a crooked piece doesn't help anything.

well from what hes saying, the car with age sags inwards, throwign off the alginment. he wanted an adjustabel one so he coudl install it, and try and push teh towers back to where they shoudl be before any sagging occurred.

have him measure first then he can make the right asumption, I've never heard of that problem before.

The way I drove my 98 GT before, I never had any tower problems before.

well he put on new rims/tires (stock sized in front - 285/40 in the back) and then did the alignment himself (we have a rack at school) and just BARELY got it in spec and he thinks that is why

well it seems he needs some C/C plates to start correcting where the stock ones can not.
