I have a 1993 LX 5.0. Will the transmission out of a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis work in my fox body?

I have a 1993 LX 5.0. Will the transmission out of a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis work in my fox body?

This is not a good plan since it won't fit. See List of Ford bellhousing patterns - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis uses a 4.6 V8 with a different bellhousing bolt pattern. It uses an AODE which needs a computer to control it and probably isn't the same length.
