ok everyone this is the first step of my C in a fox preping the motor for new parts is getting all the old ones out havent cleaned the heads yet so i dont know if they are majorly cracked yet or not. but the block looks good. you wouldnt believe how much slack was in the timeing chain and this thing was running OMG

If you run a Scat 3.850 crank with a 6.0 h-beam rod and a set of JE pistons with the 1.250 compression height it should work reallllyyy good. It will leave you 25 thou below deck (or you can run the probe pistons at 1.3 and be 25 above) and displace just a hair under 400 inches. That way you will have enough cubes to make the heads work.
Dont get me wrong, a stock C is fine, but you can always make it better!!!!!
:D :nice:

Good luck with the project.
