I just bought a 90 notchback from my buddy has 100k, I was wondering what is the first things i should do to make it a little quicker. I have the following, new oil pump and rear main seal, mac headers and off road x pipe, ford racing plugs and wires, K/N CAI, Rebuilt T-5, Electric fan, Ford racing 4.10 gears, Mickey thompson street E/T's, Drag shocks, pro 5.0 short throw shifter, I am running Royal Purple Oil and Always Premium Gas. I have a terrible launch always a lot of tire spin, even if i am cruising in 1st and floor it it just lights them up, i wont win a race like that, any help would be appreciate greatly

get yourseld some subframe connectors and some lower rear control arms. Build some traction and then build in some power. You'll be much more happy that way. Anybody can light the tires, true performance comes with traction.

get some control arms and stiffen that unibody with some subframe connectors. also learn to manipulate your clutch some so you don't break 'em loose all the time.

Subframes and some traction. No point in putting more power into it since it doesn't seem to hook anyways.

GEt a set of Mega bite Upper control arms and a set of Mega bite Jr. Lower control arms and subframe connectors. With the Mickey's and control arms you will love it!
