Hey Everyone,
I have a 1991 2.3 Dual Plug Mustang. I have codes 998 and 222 and 322(not worried about egr right now). It starts fine 1 out of 6 times, but I can get it to start if I spin it fast enough and kick it back to run on the ignition switch. It's definitely the right side(primary) having an issue. Also, the Tach never works, but you can see it jump a bit when the key is turned onso its getting power. The left side will kick in at 400 rpm with the starter cutout. Here is what I have tried so far, Verified Ground and Power on ICM, Swapped out ICM with a new one, no change, cleaned all the bolts, surface on intake, and added another ground wire to BAT. Took connectors off both coils one at a time, rpm drop, but no misfire. Next step is testing the crank position sensor?
Thanks
