2,500 MILE 93 COBRA

Customer just came to my work with a 1993 Cobra, vibrant red, grey cloth. 2,496 miles on the odometer. This car impressed the hell out of me, and I just thought of how nice it would be if Ford recreated a few hundred or a few thousand NEW FOXES!! Just really realized how nice it would be to have a perfect perfect "new" Fox.

By the way, he had a 331 stroker all chromed out under the hood, and the original motor sitting in the garage with all the original hardware, so in case he ever switches back, he has all number matching parts.

I think in the future these will be cars that get remanufactured bodies like the old Camaros and 32 Fords etc. They have such a huge following that they will all be gone eventually...but that'll take a loooong time i think (then again more and more get crushed everyday so who knows).


I would at least like a really good artist to do a concept drawing of what a new Mustang built with a fox era retro theme might look like (sort of how they did the '05+ modeled after the classics). I think they could really make a sick looking car if it was done right, and with such a huge following for these cars it would sell like crazy.
