I recently ordered 2 inch lowering springs with shocks and struts, i know i will need cc plates as well. I have 17x8 rims/245/45 tires on a 90 gt, will this be too low of a drop? Is there anything else needed to complete the install? It is not a daily driver and i am more worried about looks and handling than a comfort ride. Any advice will help

Welcome to the boards!

A little info about the car might be helpful.

Which springs are you contemplating? Are you going to install new isolators?

your going to have alot of fender rub.. i have 17" wheels with a 1.5 drop and my tires rub all the time..but if your going for looks you might have to roll your front fenders a bit.

x2, I have 1.5 lowering springs, same size tires as you and mine rub on a good turn or good bump. Plus Im in a 5.0. Im not sure of the amount, but the 351 should weigh a little more. Something to consider since the drop is more than likely measured under the weight of a 302. Weight difference could be as easy as a battery relocation to return it to normal though. Something to look in to.
