accually I know what you are talking about. I have had some problems with my TPS sensor. I went to Autozone to get a new one and they listed 2 different ones. IMO I dont there is a difference. I bought both and tried both of them and they both worked fine on my car if that helps any....

There are two parts out there in retail stores, both work and meter the same as I have experienced --- physical difference appears to be the shielding over wires on one & not the other.

When I needed one, the parts guys said the difference was due to whether it was an auto or stick car. Not sure why, but that's what their software showed.

Probably some revision ford did.
