First part: Engine runs smooth throughout the rpm range except at 1k rpms. if im in neutral and rev it up to 1k, the steering wheel vibrates (along witht he whole car) i could see if it was anywhere upwards of 1k it could be balancer, mounts, etc....but only at 1k?? any help appreciated here

Second Part: Car started doing something wierd the past couple of days. when putting the car in neutral and coming to a stop, the rpms will hover at 1k for about 5 seconds, then come down to normal (~750). i adjusted the idle and tps and it still acts the same. This is a symptom of a bad tps in a lot of GM cars, does that go the same for Ford? any help appreciated

TIA!

as far as the bad vibration... Check the Balancer. Dont drive the car till you check it.

Alot of times the rubber piece that holds the weight part of the balancer to the "pulley" part gets old and allows the weight to move around.

Mine slipped off and ended up on my crank pulley... :notnice:

If you have any doubts about it change it!
I got mine for $70 + $10 for the puller. Took an hour at most.
