1) I have an adjustable clutch- one that i can adjust from teh firewall. i went and made it so it catches lower towards the floor. after this, i noticed that at the top of the clutch i have about 3 inches of play where i can puch it down and it pops up. is this normal? it isnt smooth until you pass the couple inches going down. the clutch seems fine otherwise.

2) can people help me decide which tire to go with. im looking for the cheap route seeing as how i ordered DR's from jegs like a dumbazz. here is what i have to choose from...

thanks

It sounds like you have too much freeplay in the clutch. They should be set snug to get proper release which will give you a pretty high pedal.

yeah adjusting it to grab lower is shortening the cable so you end up either stretching the cable or snapping it all together. i try to put mine in the middle, a little more towards the top.

Personally I would probably go with the Nittos. Stay far away from the Hankooks. We put a set on our Mach 1 and they were fine for about 10k but once they started to wear they would track really bad when driving. Any road inperfection or groove and they would try to follow right along with it. Went with a set of Nittos and I have been very happy with them.

I run the falken ziex 512s listed on that site. They hook very well for the price. Full exhaust, intake manifold, and gears cut a 1.90 60' at the 1/8th track. They also do pretty decent with the h/c/i setup, just pedal the gas and slip the clutch a little. A hard shift to 2nd will break them loose though.
