20" Wheel Tire Size for the Mustang ? ? ? ? site needed -----------------------------

Hi Guys

I just got some New 20" Foose Wheels for my new Mustang

I need some help and insite on tire size? ft. is 20x8.5 and rear is 20x10.

I would like the best ride I can get some people told me to go with.

Kumho Ecsta SPT 275/35/20 and 255/35/20



But then a other guy said he is running Toyo Proxes S/T 's

255/40/20 and 295/40/20

What do you guys think and feel on this? Photos would be Great to see as well if you guys have them

matblassi is running the 20" Foose wheels with the 275/35 on the rear(can't recall the brand). His car is lowered and they fill up the wheel well very nice and sits pretty close to the fender lip on the width.

The Toyo 295/40 is a 29.2" tire That will fit on the rear a stock height Stang no problem.

The Kuhmo 275/35 is 26.5" tall. That is .6" shorter than the OEM 17" tire.

Go with Toyo's.....Never had a problem with mine.

I had 35 series tires in front, and 30 series on the rears.

I am running Nexen n3000 series. 255/35-20

great tire, can complain, good wet and dry traction for everyday driving. not great for racing but why race with 20s? they are nicely priced also.

I checked the conversion charts at my shop and , 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 rear, the rear is gonna sit a touch taller however it's very very close to the stock diameter.

Ya I was looking at the 255/40/20 for the Ft. and the 295/40/20 for the rear so that
there is more tire for a better ride and looks good. I was lookngi at the Toyo
Proxes S/T as they offer these sizes and seem to be a good tire.

But you guys are the Pro's so that why I was checking with all you guys 1st. to see
what you guys had to think?

The Car will not be lowered.

And I'm trying to see if these will fit fine with No Rubbing at all????

The 295/40 will be fine on the rear with stock suspension. It measures 29.2" tall and 11.7" wide.

Mine is stock suspension and my rear tire is 28.3" tall and 11.5" wide and has plenty of clearance in all directioins.

I have 20X8.5 and 20X10's. I running Kuhmo Ecsta 255/35/20's in the front and 295/40/20's in the rear. The rear tires are really "high" and give the rear of the car a "lowered look" even though its not. They also raised the rear end a bit giving it a nice aggressive look I feel. It is a matter of personal taste. If you want low profiles than go with the 275/35/20's. If you want a "meatier" tire in the back than go with 295/40/20's.
