Joined Stangnet december 2004. Don't currently have a mustang, just life does that to you sometimes. I'll inherit a mustang that's been in the family 50 years, just haven't cranked it in a while. Anybody have tips or a specific order of starting an old 302. The fuel tank does have a drain so I'll start there.

I'll add that you might want to be prepared to replace the fuel pump and/or any other dry rotted rubber pieces, and probably a new in-line fuel filter right before the carb to be on the safe side. I guess it all depends on how long it's sat without any attention. :shrug:
