Alright... here's the deal. I want to build a 351W or 302 complete and ready to run. As in I already have everything as far as the car to get it to run. I just need everything for the motor to be complete. IE: I can just drop it in.

I would like to stay with the 351W. I was thinking going to DSSracing.com And getting their 408 stroker kit. It costs $1400 though. And I don't think I could build the rest of the motor with $600. Now their plain ol' 351 engine kit. Which doesn't include the rods or crankshaft is $519.

I was also thinking maybe just staying with the 302. They have a 306 kit for $799.95 and the will balance it for$ 155. So I would still have $1100 for the rest of the engine. They also have the 331 and 347 stroker for $1000. They will balance for $175.

What are your opionions. And what all will I need to build a running engine. As far as parts and work needing to be done.

well i don't know much about much but i have been in the market for a 347 for a while now and just ordered mine the other day, and from what i have seen if a kit is under 1200 then the wrist pin intersects with the oil ring causing alot of oil burning. people try to get rid of these kits because the word is getting out about them. if you do want to go that route ask him about what i just said and if it doesn't then thats a great deal on a kit. anyway thought i would throw that in there other than that good luck with your choice.
