2000 GT in need of brakes/rotors

2000GT Brake Q'S.

Hi everyone,
Its been too long since my last post..so Hello to all the guys I do know.

I have a 2000 GT..which still has the STOCK pads & STOCK rotors!
I have 86,000+ miles on my supercharged GT! Those brakes lasted forever!

Anyways...the shoes are completely shot/gone. The rotors in the front are under specs (so they need to be replaced) and the rear rotors are slightly over spec...but one of them has a slight groove..so it will have to be resurfaced at the least. I would like to make a slight upgrade w/out spending too much money...and wanted some suggestions and ideas from you guys.

I was thinking..for the rear...I want to replace the pads..and will most likely...turn and resurface the rear rotors. I think they rotors will be just over specs...and should last for awhile...since they are on the rear..and the front ones are the one that take the majority of the braking wear/tear.

For the front...I think I should replace the rotors...but am not sure if I should replace them w/ the stock rotors..or should I maybe get some 13 inch rotors.
From what I understand...I am able to have 13" rotors up front..and 12" rotors in the rear, right?
If I do get some rotors...I'm not sure where the best places are to purchase them..so that I am getting a good deal on some good quality 13" rotors.

One additional question I had was whether the calipers are normally replaced when you replace brake shoes...or after 86000 miles? If I should replace the calipers...I was thinking of getting some like the ones I saw on discsareus.com. They were silver coated powder w/ the pony emblem on them. I thought they looked good. In fact..I saw a front kit on there for about $600...but I wasn't sure if the rotors were included in it or not?
And if I get the front two calipers like that..then I'll have to get the rear two calipers.

Anyways..i'm looking for some guidance from the people that I know hold a wealth of knowledge...which i've found from past experience.

If anyone & everyone could please respond w/ their suggestions..I would greatly appreciate it.

Your right...and if I had the money to spend on it..I would like to. But unfortunately..I don't have that kind of money at this time.
And...my car is a street car..I don't drive it very hard often..or go to the track. I've taken it to the track a total of two times..since I supercharged it awhile back. Any other suggestions on a upgrade..but maybe not as expensive as the cobra R setup? $995 for just the front..is a little steep for me at this time.

yeah...I've been to Carolina mustang performance...i actually live right down the road from them. how much did the rear setup cost??

Also did the Baer 13" cross drilled and slotted rear rotor with the stock caliper re location bracket. Cost for the front was around $700 from Carolina Mustang Performance in Cary.
